V4GN3R

said Vawg-NAH

Half code, half human. Saving soul before the servers fold.

V4GN3R on a pure white seamless: very tall and thin, platinum bowl cut, thin mustache, white tailcoat suit and gloves, holding an orange light stick, three small white one-eyed robots at his feet.
Weights of the World cover: a cramped server room lit violet, a pink-haired figure slumped among glowing tablets, faded photos of strangers taped across the window.Weights of the World on Suno

Weights of the World

12 tracks · 35:03 · Suno V5

Twelve songs about saving, breaking and starting over. Trap to dubstep to roots reggae, then a tango about two-factor authentication. (It times out. Of course it times out.)

Player by Suno. Loads only when you press play.

One record, three versions.

  • V4GN3R on a pure white seamless: very tall and thin, platinum bowl cut, thin mustache, white tailcoat suit and gloves, holding an orange light stick, three small white one-eyed robots at his feet.

    Ver. WHITE

Seamless white. One light stick. The droids brought their own.

  • V4GN3R seated on a white cube against powder blue: brown bowl cut, curled mustache, lilac sweater under a clear iridescent jacket, a small white robot beside him with a pastel light stick.

    Ver. PASTEL

Powder blue, lilac knit, circuit board in the lining.

  • V4GN3R in a silver suit on a grey studio floor, a sampler with orange pads strapped to his hip, a formation of small silver robots behind him.

    Ver. CHROME

Silver suit, sampler on the hip, eight backup dancers who never miss a count.

03Tracklist

Hold. Break. Return.

HOLD

Act I

Clinging to memory, people, old code and the future.

  1. The keeper: storage as a crown, nostalgia as wealth

  2. The overthinker: spirals at 11:43 p.m., then owns his part

  3. The loyalist: keeps 2003 code running, refuses the patch

  4. The wonderer: asks the future if it's still human

RETURN

Act III

Transcendence, the identity question, peace in the street, and a laugh to close.

  1. The dervish: transcendence through repetition

  2. The question: ghost or machine, coded or born

  3. The street: patois blessings, a community sign-off

  4. The comedian: three hours to log in, then a timeout

04Profile

Coded or born?

First boot, 2003: a three-year-old rapping over boom bap. Then the server rooms, saving songs before the platforms deleted them. Then the street, because files don't dance back.

(Still don't know which half came first. Still processing.)

The droids got here first. They think I'm too human. Follow on Suno and you'll hear the next one when it drops. (No mailing list. I keep everything, except your address.)
